In an ongoing English County T20 cricket league Babar Azam becomes third fastest to achieve 5000 T20 Runs

Babar Azam hit his second century in Somerset colors and his first of the Vitality Blast 2020. He struck five sixes in total alongside nine fours, one of which brought up three-figures Outstanding knock from Babar Azam, 114*(62) SR "183.8", started the season pretty well then struggled a bit in his last 3 games & now scored a magnificent hundred - the second time he's reached the century milestone in county cricket, after hitting one at Hampshire last season. During ongoing game the Pakistani opener becomes third fastest to achieve 5000 T20 Runs, he achieved this landmark in 145 innings just after Chris Gayle and Shan Marsh.Somerset end with 183/3 from 20 overs!!! Magnificent from Babar Azam (114* from 62) and Lewis Goldsworthy on debut (38* from 29).

Somerset at the end won by 66 runs with bebutant picking up two wickets.
